Twitter and the Python community

Hi devs,

Little question that's been nagging at me: is it really worth embarking on massive Twitter following campaigns to promote our Python projects? I have the impression that we're more into a quality than quantity thing here, but maybe I'm wrong. Have you tested this kind of strategy? If so, what was the result?
