bms is a nice mod but one of the issue's it has is with the jumpmod "hiss" in MP,
a hiss here and there in SP is cool, but in MP is starts sounding like a steam locomotive
with all the players long jumping.
I have recorded blank jumpmod_boost1.wav
jumpmod_boost2.wav
jumpmod_long1.wav
located at BMS>sound>weapons>jumpmod and added client side,in other mods
this would work (only you would hear the new sounds no one else).
So plan b was to take a new bms level and add the new blank .wav sounds
to the map via packrat. This worked on the first map play but after a changelevel
and back to the same map (with the blank sounds) the original ones came back.
Any ideas on how to remove/replace/mute the jumpmod snd(s)
